Skyesports has rolled out a teaser for the sequel of their popular Valorant series named Skyesports Valorant League. The 2021 edition is all set to roll on 9 April 2021 as per their Instagram teaser.
After last year’s huge success, Skyesports is set to return with the next Valorant League this summer. This time around, organizers want to make this event larger than ever.
Skyesports Valorant League has been one of the most successful Esports tournaments in India so far. With a staggering prize pool of Rs 1,000,000, it turned out to be an amazing inter-city tournament that pleasantly surprised the country.
The last season saw Team Hyderabad, who were represented by the squad of Team Mahi, then known as VLT Gaming, emerge victorious over Team Rajasthan in the Grand Finals of the event, with the latter being a concoction of several stars from the Indian Esports scene, Valorant included. Team Hyderabad will look to retain their crown while Team Bangalore would look to improve upon their Semi-Final finish at the initial event.
Talkesports reported that Skyesports have further revealed in response to a comment that this edition will have a LAN feature, with the finals set to be held ‘offline’. Valorant has so far not had a LAN final in India, owing to the fact that the game was released amidst the spread of the ongoing pandemic.
