Nazara Technologies, through its wholly owned subsidiary Nazara Dubai FZ, has acquired a 15.86 per cent stake in India’s esports community platform GetStan Technologies. The company will purchase 15.86 per cent in Stan for Rs 18.4 crores (US$2.2 million) in an all-cash secondary transaction.

Stan is an esports and fan engagement space which allows gamers to socialise and build communities and supports content creators to grow their platforms.
Nazara is a Mumbai-based gaming and esports company founded in 1999. It operates in esports, gamified learning, skill based gaming and adtech segments. The company recently collaborated with nCore Games and Dot9 Games games to co-publish an upcoming mobile first person shooter, FAU-G: Domination.
