The Esports Awards for 2020 have been announced, and in the history of Indian Esports for the first time , and Indian streamer/player has nominated the prestigious awards.Youtuber, owner of Soul Esports, and professional esports athlete Naman ‘Mortal’ Mathur is the first Indian to be nominated for the Esports Awards.
Mortal has transformed his game popularity into a successful streaming career with over 5.5 million subscribers on YouTube, and so far Mortal’s videos garnered around 600 million views.Apart from that he also does streaming sessions on Discord,garnered 2.2 million followers on Instagram, where he shares small videos and pictures of his gaming sessions.
The nomination process is based on public oriented and its crystal clear. Esports Awards allows anyone to submit an entry as a deserving candidate later the names are divided into five different categories which are taken under the consideration.
Mortal, has been selected for this year’s Esports Awards in “streamer of the year” category and probably he will be the first Indian to ever be considered into Esports Awards.
