Nazara Technologies’ independent subsidiary, NextWave Multimedia, will host Red Bull M.E.O. (Mobile Esports Open) season five (India) on 16 September 2022 on WCC2 and WCC3 (two editions of the mobile game) where esports players from all around the world compete in a variety of mobile games. World Cricket Championship is a series of 3D cricket mobile games created by NextWave Multimedia, with popular updates including WCC2, WCC Rivals, and WCC3. The Red Bull M.E.O. championship is also the world’s largest mobile esports competition. This season’s competitions will include World Cricket Championship (WCC2 and WCC3), Pokemon UNITE, and Clash of Clans.
NextWave Multimedia has hosted the tournament for the past three years in a row and continues to do so further. The tournament will be held in collaboration with Nodwin, which manages the league operations. World Cricket Championship (WCC) qualifiers begin on 16 September, while Pokemon UNITE, and Clash of Clans qualifiers begin in October. The winners of the qualifiers will advance to the play-offs, which will take place in mid-November. The play-off winners advance to the National Finals, which will be held in November. Winners of the National Finals in each title receive the right to brag about being the finest mobile gamers in the country, as well as the possibility to attend a Formula One Grand Prix.
Daily qualifiers on WCC2 and WCC3 will be held for 48 days, from 16 September to 2 November. In-game registration for the Red Bull M.E.O. Season five WCC Qualifiers is available. The winners of the daily qualifiers (48 from WCC2 and 48 from WCC3) will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete on the WCC3 platform. The top four playoff teams will advance to the National Finals, which will be held on 19 November and 20 November
