Miniclip announced that it has surpassed more than four billion downloads across its diverse range of mobile games, including 8 Ball Pool, Agar.io and Baseball Clash.
Miniclip has released most downloaded games, with more than 60 in its growing portfolio, leading to the studio exceeding three billion downloads by the end of June 2020, before reaching four billion downloads in Q1 2022. Miniclip’s top game, 8 Ball Pool, has recently achieved more than one billion downloads, and was awarded a Guinness World Records title for the ‘most downloaded mobile pool game’ in August 2021.
Since the company’s inception in 2001, Miniclip has grown to captivate generations of gamers worldwide. From its humble beginnings in web-based games, to a leading developer on mobile, the four billion downloads milestone reflects Miniclip’s commitment to unleashing the gamer in everyone, and the growth the company has enjoyed over the last 21 years.
Miniclip chief analytics officer Paul Bugryniec said, “Reaching four billion downloads is a wonderful way to finish off the first quarter of what is already set to be a fantastic year at Miniclip. We’re delighted that our games are continuing to make their way into the pockets of gamers around the world, and we want to thank all of the talented Miniclippers and studios who have helped us achieve this milestone.”
