Action Square, a developer of action-packed games, revealed that they will be creating a new RPG inspired by the Netflix series Kingdom. The game is named Kingdom: The Blood, which will be both a single and multiplayer RPG. It will have high-fidelity graphics with precise Korean zombie action.
Kingdom: The Blood faithfully maintains the series’ plot, which sees an ancient kingdom struggle to survive a zombie virus breakout during the Joseon period, with spectacular 3D visuals and enough blood and guts to please any horror aficionado. As per the trailer, the players will have to use a variety of melee strikes to battle their way through opponents and zombies alike.
The game will have numerous game modes like story mode, which follows the Kingdom series, conquest mode allows players a five-minute battle sequence, multi-boss battles and PvP combat.
The majority of the series’ action takes place in the zombie-infested city of Hanyang, but players will also have the chance to explore other breathtaking landscapes located throughout Korea.
The game will also let players create and customise their own characters and choose from a variety of unique wardrobe options that include Hanboks and other traditional Korean garb. To perfectly replicate deadly-Korean style combat, the game developer Action Square utilised a professional Korean sword dancer for motion capture.
As of now, the creators have not revealed the launch date of the game, but when it does, it will be available on PC and mobile.
