On Monday, HP India unveiled OMEN Playground outlets, which will let players use HP gaming equipment like OMEN, Victus, and Hyper X.
This year, the business intends to launch 40 OMEN Playground locations around the nation. Eight OMEN Playground locations are currently open and operating in seven cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Ludhiana, and Hubli. HP stated the network of OMEN Playground stores would soon be expanded to include cities such Lucknow, Hyderabad, Nashik, Bhubaneswar, and Chandigarh.
The OMEN playground shops have distinctive gaming spaces and welcome walk-in customers for an interactive and immersive gaming experience. The shops are designed to provide a no-cost nexus for burgeoning talent in the Indian gaming sector to use cutting-edge technology. Giving everyone a place to play, squads can use their steam IDs to play locally just like they would remotely.
HP India senior director consumer sales Vineet Gehani said, “India in recent years is seen as an emerging, fast-growing hub for the gaming industry. We, at HP, are committed to empower all gamers in India with our innovations. With the OMEN Playground stores, we are excited to unleash the gaming potential of gamers – be it casual or professional. These stores will also provide an opportunity to non-PC gamers to experience the power of HP’s PC gaming ecosystem.”
Two-thirds of avid players in the nation envisage a future in gaming, according to the HP India Gaming Landscape Study 2022. This initiative by the tech giant will help the sector to grow even more.
