‘Grand Theft Auto Trilogy’ remastered surpass 30 million downloads on Netflix

Rockstar’s critically acclaimed and classic video game Grand Theft Auto Trilogy (GTA) consisting of Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas has crossed 30 million downloads via Netflix Games on Android and iOS devices.

The Definitive Edition of the highly nostalgic GTA Trilogy was added to Netflix Games back in December 2023. According to App Magic, a mobile app market research platform GTA: San Andreas has raked in 20.5 million downloads followed by GTA Vice City at 6.5 million downloads and GTA 3 with 3.3 million downloads. Majority of these numbers have been reported from iOS devices, with the USA being the largest reported market consisting 25 per cent of the player-base.

The launch of GTA Trilogy on Netflix gaming catalogue had tripled the streaming platform’s monthly game downloads with over 18 million downloads as of January 2024.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is now available on PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Mobile through Netflix Games.
