The global talent show to find a new generation of YouTube gaming creators, uTure, aired its first challenge for contestants on Saturday exclusively at official uTure YouTube channel.
Brought together and hosted by Ali-A, who is one of the UK’s most popular and influential creators with over 25 million subscribers, uTure promises to put creative talents to the test in a weekly tournament to become a YouTube Gaming sensation – and win a grand prize of $100k.
uTure’s first episode featured the Mimic challenge in Fortnite! On Saturday, contestants got in front of screens with one mission in mind – drop all their gear and pick up new gear from every player they eliminate, with the goal being to get a Victory Royale. Featured judges for this episode included gaming content icons Lachlan, Vikkstar123, Mythpat and Loserfruit.
Contestants with the lowest scores from judges are up for elimination, but fans can vote via uTure official page to keep their favourite contestants in the show. On Wednesday, Ali-A will announce which contestant got the lowest votes from viewers, and who is eliminated from the competition.
uTure will continue over the next eight weeks while contestants work hard to hone their skills, impress all of the judges and connect with viewers at home to win a $100,000 prize that will kick start their YouTube career. Tune in every week until the finale on 13 August to find out who has won.
