Ampverse DMI launched the second season of it’s gaming talent hunt, College Rivals. The second season redefined as “Rivalry Reloaded,” will soon roll out nationwide campaigns, engaging gaming and entertainment audiences.
S2 introduces offline esports competitions in colleges with on-ground activation leg partnering with over 50 colleges across 22 cities. Any college student across India can register to compete starting 4 July.
College Rivals’ popular Gaming Truck will embark on its countrywide college tour on 15 July, offering students opportunities to become college ambassadors, purchase exclusive College Rivals merchandise and much more.
The esports community will have the chance to compete in three gaming titles—BGMI, Valorant, and EA FC 24—over eight months. The winners from monthly qualifiers will compete in a grand finale for a prize pool of up to Rs 50,00,000. The finale winner will also get an opportunity to join a top gaming organisation and compete at professional levels.
“Drawing from the success of the College Rival IP in the first year and bolstered by the support shown by brands and communities alike, the second edition is poised to redefine standards, open new horizons, and set the stage for impactful innovations and game-changing advancements,” remarked Ampverse DMI country head Ashwin Haryani.
Ampverse DMI marketing head Sumedha Mahajan said, “It’s more than just esports; it’s about cultivating a vibrant ecosystem that integrates gaming with educational and career pathways. Our objective is to leverage these engagements as a platform for college students nationwide to participate, compete, and drive transformative advancements in India’s gaming and entertainment sector.”
The second season aims to combine competitions, mentorships and appearances from top influencers at colleges for a memorable on-ground experience.
