The first DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 is coming. Phantom Liberty is an adventure that takes place in a brand-new neighbourhood within the enormous Night City, according to CD Projekt Red. The DLC will be available only on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
The update for Cyberpunk 2077, which was shown during its Night City Wire livestream, is the game’s first significant new content addition since its numerous patches that fixed it after its disastrous console debut.
Additionally, a brief teaser trailer was made available, which shared some plot details as well as reiterating the 2023 release date that CD Projekt Red had previously promised. In the expansion, Keanu Reeves will make a comeback as Johnny Silverhand, and in the trailer, he is shown cautioning V about an oath they recently made, swearing allegiance to the New United States of America.
“We’re having a lot of fun with the expansion, it’s a new style of plot, a new cast of characters, on a district in Night City where it primarily takes place,” said the game director
This new material is connected to the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series, which will debut on Netflix next week. It includes a few additional cosmetics and even a new quest that runs concurrently with the main Cyberpunk 2077 plot.
