Big and indie gaming studios to exhibit at GDC 2024’s India Pavilion

For the first time, India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) will mark its presence with an India Pavilion at GDC, the world’s premium game developer conference unfolding in San Francisco from 18 to 22 March, 2024.

The India Pavilion is an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the potential of the country’s gaming market which clocked a revenue of $3.1 billion in FY23, and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 15.68 per cent over the next five years to hit a revenue of $7.5 billion by FY28.

Conceptualised and put together by IGDC, the pavilion will play host to a range of exhibitors who will showcase their products and services, and help drive business and collaborations. Lined up for the pavilion are Nazara, Winzo, Dot9 Games Studio (Mumbai); Xigma Games (Bengaluru); Ogre Head Studio (Hyderabad); Ayelet Studio (Chennai); Studio Cupcakes (Pune); and Redimension Games (Nagaland).

GDC is designed to bring the global game development community together to exchange ideas, solve problems and shape the future of the industry across five days of education, inspiration and networking. Programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, and business leaders will be among the participants.
