Polish independent developer Render Cube and publisher Toplitz Productions have announced the co-op mode, new Oxbow map and character creator for Medieval Dynasty.
Medieval Dynasty is a base building, survival and simulation game where players can craft their own character and start out as a farmer, while building up their skills and gaining experience to become the head of your town. Players can upgrade their house over time and turn it into a full fledged farm. The base building sim also features a diverse range of 25 buildings and over 300 pieces of weapons, tools, furniture and clothing for players to craft and utilise to ensure their survival. The game features an immersive open world and a dynamic weather cycle due to which players have to manage their settlement and resources to survive. Players need to make important decisions that impact the gameplay directly.
The game is available on Xbox Series X|S via Game Pass, PS5, Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.com. In addition to bringing the co-op mode and new Oxbow map, the update will also provide a character creator mode for players to modify facial features, hairstyles, hair colour and even facial scars to create unique player characters.
Medieval Dynasty has expanded its cross-platform play as a result of which Xbox Series X|S and PS5 console gamers can go on co-op adventures together. Teaming up with friends, players across all platforms can embark on new exciting quests and explore Piastovia, a location where they can hunt, trade and build together in the Oxbow, a realm brimming with intriguing personalities, captivating sights, and rural communities.
The game became available for PC in fall 2021 after a highly successful early access phase, and has sold over 1.75 million copies to date as of December 2023. Versions for current gen consoles have been available since October 2022 and have secured an active community as well.
