A new game based on the Alien franchise is on the way to consoles, PC, and virtual reality platforms. It promises an intense single-player, action horror game experience in the sci-fi franchise. The untitled project from 20th Century Games and Survios, the creators of VR games like Creed: Rise to Glory, Raw Data, and Sprint Vector, will be an untold Aliens story set in the 57-year gap between the events of the first Alien and the sequel Aliens.
According to the game’s official website, a battle veteran with a vendetta against the Xenomorphs will play the lead role in the upcoming Aliens game. According to Survios, the initiative will build on the studio’s expertise in creating immersive and authentic gaming experiences. Unreal Engine 5 from Epic Games is being used to develop the game.
According to 20th Century Games and Survios, further information will be made public at the ‘Alien: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe’ event on 21 July at Comic-Con San Diego.
