FIFA 22 [ 1 October ]: FIFA 22 is an upcoming football simulation video game published by Electronic Arts as part of the FIFA series. It will be the 29th installment in the FIFA series. FIFA 22 introduces hypermotion technology, which captures the traits of real world footballers and renders them into the game. Xsens suits allowed the developers to carry out a full-team motion capture with 22 professional footballers playing at a high-intensity level, while studying their exact movements. These new animations are used to power Full Team Authentic Motion, Kinetic Battles, Player Humanisation, Composed Ball Control, and more. Unlike previous titles, where players could only take control of an existing team, this year, players have the option to take to the pitch with a club built from scratch. In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, EA have included updates to some features of the gamemode. First of all, EA introduced FUT Heroes cards and these are cards that have an unique league-specific chemistry which is tied to their specific hero moment, providing a green club link to any player within the same league as well as the usual nation link. New VOLTA mechanics in FIFA 22 will allow players to trigger special abilities during a match that would boost a player’s avatar in a specific attribute. There will be three Signature Abilities available: Power Strike, Pure Pace and Aggressive Tackle. Players of FIFA 22 will also have the opportunity to play with up to three players in various online mini game modes, which will be part of the new VOLTA Arcade. Far Cry 6 [7 October]: Far Cry 6 is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the sixth main installment of the Far Cry series. The game is set on Yara, a fictional Caribbean island ruled as a dictatorship by “El Presidente” Antón Castillo (portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito), who is raising his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) to follow in his rule. The player takes the role of guerilla fighter Dani Rojas, attempting to topple Castillo and his regime. Gameplay follows from previous Far Cry games, with players using makeshift weapons, vehicles, and hiring Amigos, the new “Fangs for Hire” system, to topple the tyrannical regime.

Demon Slayer: The Hikonami Chronicles [15 October]: The Hinokami Chronicles is a spectacular Arena Fighter from the Team at Cyberconnect2 that lets players relive the memorable moments of “Tanjiro Kamado unwavering resolve arc” and “Mugen train arc”. It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a demon slayer so that he can turn his sister back into a human and kill the demon that massacred his family. A sorrowful tale of siblings in which the fates of humans and demons intertwine.

Resident Evil 4 VR [21 October]: Resident Evil 4 VR is a survival horror third-person shooter video game The player controls the protagonist, Leon S. Kennedy, from a third-person perspective. Departing significantly from the series’ previous games, the gameplay focuses on action and shootouts with fewer survival horror elements. The camera is placed behind Leon and zooms in for an over-the-shoulder view when aiming a weapon, or a first-person view when aiming with a sniper rifle. 14 years after the game launching on VR where players could experience horror in VR only on Quest 2. Play Resident Evil 4 from a terrifying new perspective and immerse in deepest fears.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes [22 October]: The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is an upcoming survival horror interactive drama video game developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the third of eight planned installments in The Dark Pictures Anthology series, following 2019’s Man of Medan and 2020’s Little Hope. Similar to its predecessor, the game is an interactive drama. The player controls 5 characters who are trapped under an underground Mesopotamian temple during the 2003 Iraq War where they are stalked then hunted by monsters awoken by the chaos. The five characters include CIA officer Rachel King (Ashley Tisdale), her husband, US Air Force lieutenant colonel Eric King (Alex Gravenstein), USMC Force Recon marines first lieutenant Jason Kolchek (Paul Zinno) and sergeant Nick Kay (Moe Jeudy-Lamour), and Iraqi Army lieutenant Salim Othman (Nick Tarabay). Throughout the game, players need to make different decisions which can have long-term consequences as they influence how characters perceive each other and the course of the narrative. All five characters can survive or die depending on the player’s decision. As a result, the game has multiple endings.
