Toon Boom Animation Inc., a 2012 and 2005 Primetime Emmy® Engineering Award recipient, has announced that The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, will grant the Toon Boom Pipeline the Ub Iwerks Award at the upcoming 40th Annual Annie Awards™. As part of the juried awards category, the Ub Iwerks Award recognizes the technical advancements that make a significant impact on the art or industry of animation.

The 40th Annual Annie Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles, California.
