After introducing categories for non-MAAC students like the 24FPS Best Animated Short Award and Best Visual Effects Award, 24FPS has now created a category which is the 24FPS Best Visual Effects Awards for professionals and production houses.
Speaking about the idea behind creating this category, Shravni Chopra, GM of Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC) shared with Animation Xpress.com, “24 FPS Animation Awards is a platform to celebrate and honor the animation excellence worldwide. The tremendous response and support that we have got from the studios for being a part of 24 FPS year on year and professionals & studios form an integral part of the animation industry, has encouraged us to start a category for them too.”
The jury members of the 24 FPS professional category include renowned individuals from the industry. Contestants will be judged on the creativity of the films, the visual impact & overall packaging of the film.
Adding further, Chopra shared, “We have received an overwhelming response for all the categories in 24 FPS. We already have 300 participants for this year‘s edition of 24 FPS more in the following days.”
Winners in all categories will be awarded with certificates and trophies. This year, 24FPS is being supported by NDTV, AnimationXpress.com, Animation Reporter and CG Tantra.
