Sparky Animation, a Singaporean animation production company, has set up a co-produced kids TV series Rhythm Warriors with the UK’s Presto Digital.
Aiming to impart the fundamentals of music education, this fantasy series is an adventure to entertain the audience and appreciate the art of music. The first episodes of the series are written by Duane Capizzi, who is best known for his extensive work on at DC comics and on the award winning Transformers: Prime.
Sparky Animation is now producing Season 4 of its Emmy-nominated children’s series Dinosaur Train which scored commendable viewership on PBS. Also, Season 2 of Sprout’s Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave is in production.
Sparky recently opened a new office in India, an offshoot which will extend its animation production and represent a new venture into digital games development. And, this expansion surely marks the extension of its reach to areas that have not been tapped in terms of global content. Sparky’s unique features of creating educative content may capitalise the Indian market and add to the approach of ‘Educating Kids in an entertaining way’.
