India’s Animation and Visual Effects training studio Frameboxx has launched a new division ProCampus to bring world-class computer graphics experts to train Indian animation and Visual Effects artists. The first workshop will be conducted in partnership with ZBrush Workshops founder and ZBrush master, Ryan Kingslien of USA, at the NCUI Auditorium in New Delhi on 30th March.
“ProCampus is a new initiative to meet the growing demand for high-end skills training need of professionals, corporate groups, studios, and students in the animation industry”, informs Naveen Gupta, CEO and Executive Director of Frameboxx.Ryan would showcase the modeling technique for human anatomy, using ZBrush and digital sculpting technique, as well as the important of understanding human anatomy from a traditional artistic perspective.
Ryan Kingslien says, “Understanding human anatomy is the single most important item that every CG artist has to learn to improve their artwork, their career and their ability to quickly and accurately respond to clients and employers.
Simply put, there is no other artistic skill that has more dramatic an effect on your ability to produce and make a living than mastering anatomy today.”Ryan studied traditional art at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. In 2004, he became Chief Creative Officer at Pixologic where he developed the industry standard training system still in use today and consulted with industry leaders such as ILM, Sony Pictures, Imageworks, Bungie Studios, Ubisoft to develop their next generation modeling pipelines.Naveen Gupta feels that this is an introductory workshop and is being offered free of cost as a part of Frameboxx’s commitment to inculcate the spirit of innovativeness and creativity amongst Indian CG artists and expose them to the latest high end tools and techniques being used by the professionals abroad.
