Entertainment One (eOne), Hasbro, Inc. and Netflix announced that the second season of the Power Rangers Dino Fury series will premiere on Netflix starting spring 2022 in the U.S. The Power Rangers series, produced by eOne and Hasbro has been a favourite among superhero fans since 1993, with the launch of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The second season of Power Rangers Dino Fury marks the 29th season of Power Rangers.
“The new season will feature new characters, new weapons, new Zords (with unique Megazord combinations!), and new vehicles including the Dino Fury Cycle, a T-rex inspired motorcycle with blasters – all resulting in even more action-packed adventures. Everyone’s favorite Dino Fury Power Rangers from season one, Zayto (Red Ranger), Ollie (Blue Ranger), Izzy (Green Ranger), Javi (Black Ranger), Amelia (Pink Ranger), and the newest recruit, Aiyon (Gold Ranger), are set to make a morphinominal return,” Netflix said in an official statement.
The first season introduced us to a brand-new team of Power Rangers, fueled by the prehistoric power of the dinosaurs and recruited to deal with the threat of an army of powerful alien beings.
The series will pick up right where season one left off, with the fate of Void Knight and Santaura revealed. Evil forces and influential villains will continue to disrupt the Dino Fury Rangers. Season two will also see Zayto and Aiyon discovering more about Rafkon, their home planet, the development of new and existing relationships, and the introduction of never-before-seen characters.
Power Rangers fans can also look forward to the reveals of exciting, new power-ups, including new ‘Dino Boost Keys’. The first season of Power Rangers Dino Fury is currently available on Netflix.
