JioCinema Premium has announced new content coming to the streaming service this August, including films like Dune: Part 2 and Godzilla vs Kong.
Dune: Part 2, starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, will come to the platform on 1 August, while Godzilla vs Kong on 29 August. On 5 August, House of the Dragon Season 2 will conclude with its finale.
Kids content that will be added includes movies such as Motu Patlu and Mission KungFu Kid premiering on 2 August, followed by Chikoo Bunty – Bhaagam Bhaag Express on 14 August. New episodes of Golmaal Jr. and Pakdam Pakdai, and seasons of Peppa Pig will be released throughout the month.
Other content included Tusshar Kapoor-starrer comedy-thriller series Dus June Ki Raat, releasing on 4 August; the documentary Moving Mountains Within premiering on 7 August; Ghudchadi featuring Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Parth Samthaan set to entertain on 9 August; and the film Tikdam starring Amit Sial arriving on 23 August.
Viewers can also check out a new detective series Shekhar Home, premiering on 14 August, starring Kay Kay Menon, Rasika Duggal, and Ranvir Shorey. The show is set in Bengal in the early 1990s, inspired from literary works by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Other shows include the youth-centric series Cadets, starring Tanay Chheda and Chayan Chopra, which follows four friends finding their purpose at a fictional tri-services academy, which will premiere on 30 August.
Additionally, shows in languages like Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada will include episodes of Megha Barsenge, Durga, and Drusti Bottu and the movie Koti before their TV premiere.
