FICCI organizes ‘India going Digital: An Industry Interaction with Stakeholders’ on 27th March

To create public awareness on digitization, FICCI jointly with Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India is organizing a seminar on “India going Digital: An Industry Interaction with Stakeholders”  on the 27th of March, 2012 at 10:30am at FICCI Auditorium New Delhi. FICCI Auditorium is well connected with metro (nearest Metro station -Mandi House metro station)
As we all know, digitization in TV distribution system is going to be a reality soon as the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India has come up with a detailed roadmap to digitize the TV distribution system by 31st December 2014. Furthermore, the four metros (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai) are to be digitized by 30th June, 2012.The session will start around 10.30 followed by the Presentation on Digitization by
Ms Supriya Sahu, Joint Secretary (Broadcast & polices), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. At 11.05 am, Mr. Uday Kumar Varma, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India will give a Keynote Address which will be followed by an Interactive session. At 12.35pm there will beConcluding Address by Mr. Rajiv Takru, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India followed by Vote of Thanks by FICCI.
