Disney Plus released an exciting TV spot for its new, live-action series from Lucasfilm, The Book of Boba Fett. The series will have seven weekly episodes commencing 29 December exclusively on the streaming channel.
The upcoming action-packed series was teased as a surprise during the end-credit sequence following the season two finale of The Mandalorian. Fans were eager to find out if there are more connections between The Mandalorian and the brand new series, hailed as it’s spin-off.
The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
In the upcoming series, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones actor Temuera Morrison returns as Boba Fett. Ming-Na Wen will reprise the role of Shand. Shand and Fett both were seen in The Mandalorian before the new series was announced. The makers have successfully kept the series shrouded in mystery without revealing much in their trailer.
Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
In India, The Book of Boba Fett will stream in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It will be available on Disney Plus Hotstar on 29 December 2021. You can watch the official trailer here:
