Carrying out with its roll out in international markets, Disney+ has forayed into Singapore on 23 February with content from all six iconic Disney+ brands – Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, National Geographic, Pixar and the brand new general entertainment brand, Star.
With an enviable library of over 650 films and 15,000 episodes of content, Disney+ offers customers the latest blockbuster releases, such as Hamilton, Mulan, Soul, Avengers: Endgame, and more as well as exclusive Disney+ Originals including the popular The Mandalorian and Marvel Studios’ WandaVision.
Singapore is also the first country to experience the streaming service with the new Star brand, which also launched internationally yesterday. This addition strengthens Disney+’s content lineup adding new titles from 20th Century Studios, FX, ABC and Searchlight Pictures. Shows that are available on Disney+ at launch include Grey’s Anatomy, X Files, Criminal Minds, Prison Break and Lost.
Disney + will be available in the country via Smart TVs, mobile and broadband and integrated through a partnership with StarHub and subscriptions will be priced at S$11.98 (around $9.00) per month or for an annual subscription of $119.98.
The subscriptions will offer its users exclusive Disney+ Originals, enjoy a cinematic experience at home with 4K/UHD, watch concurrently on four screens and also GroupWatch feature/option.
