Marvel explores love life of its famous couples in new ‘Love Unlimited’ comic series

Marvel has launched a new Infinity Comic anthology series titled Love Unlimited on Marvel Unlimited app, beginning with a six-issue based on the characters Ms Marvel and Red Dagger.

Every Thursday, a new issue of Love Unlimted will be released, focusing on the tale of each beloved couple of Marvel. The six-part Ms Marvel & Red Dagger series has already premiered and will follow the duo as they determine whether or not to expose their true identities after having a kiss and discovering their unparalleled chemistry while investigating a string of thefts. Nadia Shammas wrote Ms Marvel & Red Dagger, while Natacha Bustos illustrated it.

After the end of the first limited series, writer Marieke Nijkamp and artist Federico Sabbatini will delve into Viv Vision’s first big love, the type that makes her feel like she’s about to malfunction. It will be followed by Millie the Spy, based on the titular character Millie Collins by writer Stephanie Phillips and artist Nick Roche after she is recruited for S.H.I.E.L.D. and instantly clashes with her new partner.

The series will continue with X Loves of Wolverine, in which Logan takes a chance and entangles in what may be the greatest love of his long life. Throughout the X-Men’s history, he’s had a number of legendary relationships, including Storm and even Red Sonja, but his love for Jean Grey has been the most evident. Even if Logan’s new love is a completely new character, writer Sean Kelley McKeever and illustrator Diogenes Neves will have enough other Logan romances to draw on.

Finally, Hulkling and Wiccan will bring the Love Unlimited anthology series to an end. The fan-favourite couple will be written by Josh Trujillo and illustrated by tokitokoro as they try to deal with the agony of falling in love with other people in this parallel reality when Hulkling’s alternate-reality ex-boyfriend turns up and makes it even difficult for the pair to move on. Furthermore, a space pirate requires their assistance, so their post-wedding joy is constantly put to the test
