Fenil Comics recently released a collection of Bajrangi’s previously released titles 1411, Simha, and Gadar titled Bajarangi Collector’s edition. The publication has released two variant covers, one with the main cover and the other is a limited edition. The Collector edition is written by Fenil Sherdiwala, pencilled by Anand Jadhav, with colouring done by Harendra Saini and the cover art created by Yogesh Pugaonkar.
The 104 pages long book tells the story of Vajra who completes his studies from abroad and returns to his village Devipur where he notices that his village is yet to be developed. Vajra’s family belongs to the Jindari tribe who fought against Britishers in 1947 and his father Bhimachacha is head of the panchayat. The village is currently facing a major problem of illegal tiger hunting which Vajra decides to solve. Vajra decides to stop all these issues, and from here the twists in the story begin. The storyline spans different times – 1947 and 2020.
Speaking about the latest released book, Sherdiwala said, “Bajrangi tells the story of the Jungle. It took one year to complete this book, as it comprises the three Bajrangi books and it is actually a collector’s edition of Bajrangi’s Vanprasth Series. The major challenge for us was to combine the story of the jungle in 1947 and 2020. Our message to the readers is always to save the jungle, save the environment.”
The books are available at Fenil Comics’ official online store and Bajarangi Collector main edition is priced at Rs 999 whereas the limited edition price is available for Rs 699. To treat the fans with Bajarangi collectibles, the publisher is giving away free gifts with the main cover including the Bajrangi tin badge, Bajrangi art print, Bajrangi character card, Bajarangi stickers, and posters.
Revealing the future plans, an excited Sherdiwala shared, “First, we will try to publish an incomplete series of Balram and Crimefighter in this year. We will also release three more titles of Bajarangi and will publish some more international titles through the Fenil Comics publisher.”
