ACK is bringing a one of a kind online Theatre workshop, themed around Diwali and the Ramayana. The workshop which will be held for 10 days will have young theatre enthusiasts learn techniques of scripting, acting, directing, different types of performances and all of this will culminate in a spectacular showcase which will be exhibited on our Social Media platforms.
The workshop which commenced on 16 November is taught by an extremely senior faculty, including the Amar Chitra Katha chief editor Reena Puri, the ACK associate editor Sanjana Kapur, commissioning editor, Neel Paul and ACK Learn’s Prateek Dhruva.
“We have all been in the space of storytelling, performance, theatre, and writing for quite a while and really wanted to do a drama workshop, but we were concerned about how the online format would work, so we trialed and planned and finally started. And now that it’s on it way, it is kind of all falling into place and that is fantastic,” Dhruva added.
The team is also planning to start a small drama club at the end of this workshop, which will allow us to explore another medium to bring ACK and Tinkle stories to life.
ACK Learn by Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle offers a variety of creative enhancement programmes to help children develop, nurture and excel at their creative potential and develop confidence.
