Disney Channel is banking on movies for luring in audiences, lining up 180 popular hits over two months.
For the first time, The Lion King will be dubbed in Hindi and shown on 28 May at 6 pm.. The other legendary hits include Aladdin, Jungle Book, Treasure Island, Beauty and the Beast and 101 Dalmatians.
The Disney Channel will telecast three movies a day, at 8 am, 9 pm on week days, 6 pm all days and a movie double block on weekends at 11am and 1:00 pm, says an official release.
