Warner Bros. Home Entertainment dropped a new red band trailer for the most anticipated animated movie, Injustice, which is all set to release on 19 October 2021.
Injustice saga has had various sequels and spin-offs; it evolved from comics to video games – Injustice: Gods Among Us, and now finally after five years, we will get to witness it in an animated movie form.
The trailer featured the glimpses of Janet Varney as Wonder Woman, Zach Callison as Damian Wayne, Anson Mount as Batman, Yuri Lowenthal as Shazam, Brian T. Delaney as Green Lantern, and Laura Bailey as Lois Lane.
The promo has shown how Superman brutally killed Joker and how the threat to Superman becomes a threat to society.
Here is the official synopsis:
Injustice finds an alternate world gone mad — where The Joker has duped Superman into killing Lois Lane, sending the Man of Steel on a deadly rampage. Unhinged, Superman decides to take control of the Earth for humanity’s own good. Determined to stop him, Batman creates a team of like-minded, freedom-fighting heroes. But when Super Heroes go to war, can the world survive?
Directed by Matt Peters (Justice League Dark – 2017) and Ernie Altbacker (Batman: Hush) serve as the screenplay writer. Jim Kriegis and Rick Moralesare are producing along with Ian Rodgers. Alyessa Ornelas is an associate producer with Warner Bros. Animation president Sam Register as executive producer.
Injustice is all set to release on 19 October in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and in digital formats.
