To mark the celebration of entering into its successful 30th business year, Wacom thought to bring out this contest as they consider portrait painting as one of the oldest recognized forms of art.
The contest is open for anyone who is interested to explore the digital portrait painting medium can participate in this contest and also only one entry per artist is accepted and you can Paint a digital portrait of your favorite movie icon, celebrities, your family, friends, yourself, or your imagination!
There would be two winners for this contest from which, one would win through popular likes whereas the other art would be judged by the team at Wacom India.
Speaking to AnimationXpress.com’s Zeenia Boatwala about this contest, Saumya Aggarwal, Marketing Manager, Wacom India, says, “In the past two decades technology has majorly stepped into art. The ‘need of speed’ due to competition and pressing deadlines has promoted digital art to new grounds. And as you know Wacom is at the center of all digital art and design, hence we have announced this contest.”
