The creators behind Baby Shark, The Pinkfong Company’s newest hit 3D animated short-film series Sealook has achieved meaningful milestones on global streaming platforms.
The fun and wacky adventures of lovable seals has hit the 100,000 YouTube subscribers milestone as of 6 February 2023.
Produced in partnership with Million Volt, the animation studio founded by the creators of the global hit animated series Larva, this dialogue-free series amassed 100,000 subscribers, 10 million total views, and 250,000 hours of viewing within two months of its debut on YouTube.
Particularly, Sealook marked strong growth in its Gen Z and Millennials viewership on YouTube as the age group of 25 to 34 years old accounted for 40 per cent of the total audience, and the 18 to 24 years old group accounted for 22 per cent. In geographies, the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Brazil, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India are the top countries where the show has been most-watched on the same platform.
Following its success on YouTube, Sealook has connected with fans across social media platforms, inviting audiences to Sealook‘s world full of playfulness, joy, and slapstick humour. The series made 160,000 followers and 2.3 million views on TikTok as of 6 February 2023.
Fully animated in 3D, Sealook follows a group of seals with different looks and personalities as they journey on comedic adventures in the peaceful, cold land covered by ice. Centring on the tagged seals observed in a wildlife sanctuary, each episode spotlights different seals navigating life’s weird and wacky challenges through fun and heartwarming ways.
New episodes of Sealookwill be available every Thursday and Saturday on YouTube.
