Considering that our country is the 2nd largest population in the world and quite a sizeable chunk is the youth, who are in search for good career options, shouldn’t we be having 100,000 + animators instead of a mere 5 or at max 10 thousand.
There’s a lot of brands in the country whose potential is yet to be exploited by the animation industry.
#Can’t someone adapt a Suppandi or a Shikari Shambu or a Sabu into animation?
#Can’t we make an animated feature around our super brands like a Shah Rukh, Amitabh or Sachin?
#Shouldn’t something be done about this. Can’t the industry get united and convince the powers that be, to partner it in it’s effort to prosperity?
The answer is all this can be done. Why it is not being done is The Mystery.
