Supercell’s first official animated short film featuring characters from Clash of Clans and Clash Royale games debuts today, 12 September, on YouTube.
Fans will be able to see the villages of Clash of Clans and the castles in Clash Royale as part of the same world for the first time. It features characters from both the games.
Developed in partnership with and directed by Psyop, the film features two Skeleton Guard siblings Peter and Larry, who have been given the responsibility of guarding the Red King’s crown. Chaos ensues in their effort to get the crown safely back to the Red King. The duration of the film is 11 minutes.
To celebrate the debut, the producers have released several renderings of the animations as well as black and white beatboards ahead of its release, giving a sneak peek at what is in store for viewers.
Psypop and Supercell have worked together for several years creating fantastic visuals and 3D characters since the last eight years. The Clash games are immensely popular, and have been downloaded over three billion times. They have a dedicated community who enjoys seeing Clash characters brought to life through animation.
