Adults have tons of entertainment options to binge watch. But when it comes to the younger lot, though there is a massive variety of excellent-quality content being made these days, how many of those can the little ones watch without parental guidance?

1) Ada Twist, Scientist
Ada Twist is an eight-year-old Black scientist who explores people through scientific discovery, collaboration and friendship with the help of her two best friends, Rosie and Iggy. The plot revolves around these three little scientists doing experiments in their lab with science.
It is an interactive show ideal for kids aged four and above. The lightweight series is sure to generate curiosity in young minds and will keep them glued to their seats. When entertainment comes together with learning that results in good educational roots, there cannot be a better package.

2) True and the Rainbow Kingdom
The intelligent, fearless eight-year-old True and best friend Bartleby, the cat, help the whimsical citizens of the Rainbow Kingdom with their problems. The fun show follows little True who is transported to a kaleidoscopic kingdom where she is granted three wishes per episode to solve magical problems with practical answers.
True and the Rainbow Kingdom is a visual treat loaded with ninja cats, friendly monsters, beautiful clouds and myriad other colourful adventures that kids would absolutely enjoy. The ironic humour filled with subtle notes of love and affection, along with some emotional beats are sure to appeal to the older generation as well.

3) Ask the StoryBots
The StoryBots are curious little creatures who live under our screens. Beep, Bing, Bang, Boop and Bo of Team 341B go on an adventure to the human world to help answer kids’ biggest questions.
Perfect for kids aged three and above, Ask The StoryBots is an interesting and creative way of teaching children good habits. The cartoon has an interactive way of explaining curious questions like why we need to brush our teeth at night and many more fascinating everyday essentials that would serve as excellent learning mechanisms are displayed by the five little creatures.

4) Dug Days
A spinoff of Pixar’s tear-jerker Up, this short Disney+ series follows the talking dog Dug as he settles in for life with widower Carl. The episodes are short and extremely sweet, with Dug as the main lead dealing with everyday struggles like loud fireworks, puppies and his sworn enemies: squirrels.
The pup’s hilarious misadventures are sure to take the kids through a fun ride. The animation is superb and you’ll see colourful characters fly off the screen with life and energy. The delightful series is a must-watch for dog lovers and we cannot forget to mention that Dug Days also turned out to be Ed Asher’s last performance before passing away.

5) I Heart Arlo
Optimistic Arlo and his one-of-a-kind friends live in a boring neighbourhood of New York when they finally plan to make things work according to their own fancies. The group learns how to live together in a community where everyone has their own idea of what’s fun.
The show teaches the importance of friends and good ethics with tons of great songs that the little ones will love to listen to. The goofy series is ideal for children aged six and above and boasts a feel-good factor throughout. Sweet and sincere with solid diversity representation, including queer identities, racialised folks, and bodies of all shapes and sizes; I Heart Arlo imparts great messages to kids and is still really enjoyable for the adults as well.

6) Johnny Test
The plot revolves around a crafty 11-year-old boy who works together with his two assistants and a genetically-modified speaking dog to save his family and the world from disasters. The episodes are exciting, fun and exhibit good animation. The kids in the show use impossible science tricks to turn things into their favour, which makes the storyline even more thrilling.
The outrageous science experiments and the berserk outcomes makes Johnny Test hilarious, fun, and a favourite among young kids. If you are a product of the 90’s, watch Johnny Test with the younger generation and take them through the joyous ride as you indulge in a trip down memory lane. There is no stopping the absolutely amazing show as it has already completed 14 successful seasons and you’d still be left asking for more!

7) Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous
If you’ve watched and loved Jurassic Park films in the past, we are happy to tell you that this one is going to induce the same amount of happiness. The series follows the same path with great animation and a little tweaked storyline. Lucky Darius wins a lucky chance to go on Isla Nublar for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with five others. The Island consists of lots of dinosaurs and research facilities trying to revive them back.
Similar to the film, things begin to go wrong and they have to save their lives from scary carnivores. Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous is best-suited for kids aged 11 and up and makes for a perfect family-time watch. The art, animation, and plot is simply spectacular and the young ones also learn how to deal with friendship, disaster, betrayal and even death.
