RTVE’s children’s channel, Clan, becomes the first channel in Spain to add new episodes of the fourth season of Pocoyo to its programming list.
Pocoyo is a children’s comedy animated series produced by Zinika entertainment. Pocoyo is a four-year-old little boy with a lot of energy, who loves to play games and explore new things.
Zinika entertainment has signed an agreement with Spanish public television to broadcast 26 episodes from the brand’s new content catalogue.
Altogether Pocoyo will be back on Clan with his friends Nina, Elly, Pato, Loula, Pajaroto, Roberto, and Pulpo with all-new adventures and new challenges. The series is an educational resource to encourage the little ones to learn and universal values such as respect, friendship, sustainability, or healthy habits in the little ones. Which was the major reason behind the back-to-back successful seasons.
The animated series is created by Guillermo García Carsí, Colman López, Luis Gallego and David Cantolla and first premiered in 2005. The Clan has become his home. Pocoyo is one of the characters most loved by children and he has accompanied the channel throughout all this time. Moreover, Pocoyo and Clan have collaborated in different solidarity initiatives, such as the latest editions of WWF’s Earth Hour or the awareness campaigns against the coronavirus that were carried out in 2020.
15 years after its premiere, the series has been broadcast in 150 countries around the world. In addition, it is present on more than 40 VOD platforms, including YouTube, Netflix, HBO, or Amazon. The series is also credited with many prestigious awards including Crystal of Annecy, BAFTA award for the Best Animated Series.
