Netflix renews anthology series ‘Love, Death and Robots’ season four

Netflix has renewed adult animated anthology series Love, Death and Robots for a fourth season. The OTT giant has announced the renewal on its official Instagram handle.

The series is created by Tim Miller and being produced by Blur Studio. The series features different stand-alone episodes which explore various genres including comedy, horror, science fiction and fantasy.

Miller, Fincher, Jennifer Miller and Joshua Donen serves as an executive produce. Jennifer Yuh Nelson is supervising director.

The first season of Love Death + Robots with 18 shorts was released in March 2019, with a varied length of episodes ranging from six to 17 minutes and the storyline is based on the three aforementioned subjects: love, death, and robots.

Love Death + Robots is created by David Fincher and Tim Miller (Deadpool) and developed by Blur Studios. The adult animated sci-fi anthology series is based on the 1981 cult classic film Heavy Metal, also an animated anthology of various sci-fi stories. For volume two Fincher was joined by Yuh Nelson as the supervising director. The Oscar-nominated director have overseen the animation of all eight animation shorts.
