Netflix releases first official trailer of 3D CGI animated film ‘Marmaduke’

Netflix has released the first trailer for its 3D CGI animated movie Marmaduke.

The streamer debuted the official trailer showing what happens when the mischievous, oversized chowhound gets caught up in the world of elite dog shows. This slapstick family comedy features the voices of Pete Davidson as the famous Great Dane, J.K. Simmons and David Koechner.

Marmaduke is directed by Mark A.Z. Dippé, Matt Philip Whelan and Youngki Lee. All three are longtime visual effects supervisors (with Lee most recently a VFX producer). Dippé’s previous directing credits include Spawn and The Boxcar Children.

The film is produced by Andrews McMeel Entertainment and Legacy Classics. Toronto, Shanghai and Seoul-based StoryBerry provides the animation.
