Everyone’s favourite animated Jurassic Park dinosaurs are back! Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming interactive Camp Cretaceous Hidden Adventure Special, which debuts on 15 November. The special finds the campers working together to unearth a hidden stockpile of food. They risk everything to uncover clues in search of its location, ultimately exposing previously unknown secrets of Isla Nublar.
“I am so excited for our audience to rejoin our Camp Fam back amongst the ruins of Jurassic World,” said executive producer Scott Kreamer. “Set between seasons two and three, fans will be put in Darius’s shoes, and just like in Camp Cretaceous, they’ll be forced to make life-and-death decisions that quite literally can mean the difference between him and the other campers surviving, or getting chomped. Not only will we be interacting with fan-favourite dinosaurs from the series, but we’ll also be visiting never-before-seen areas of Isla Nublar, as well as coming face to face with a large carnivorous theropod never previously shown on our show or the films. I think folks are really gonna enjoy it!”
Inspired by the Jurassic World franchise, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous follows six teenagers chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Camp Cretaceous, a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar, who must work together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island. From DreamWorks Animation, Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, the series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall, alongside executive producers and showrunners Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley.
The 32-minute special features the voices of Paul-Mikél Williams, Jenna Ortega, Ryan Potter, Raini Rodriguez, Sean Giambrone and Kausar Mohammed.
