The streaming giant Netflix has announced more names of A-list cast members from its upcoming series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. Jack Black is back as the voice of lead character Po and joining him is James Hong who will be reprising his role as Mr. Ping, Po’s over-protective father along with Rita Ora as Wandering Blade. This will be Ora’s first major voice acting gig as a touch English bear knight who will be joining Po on his adventure.
The Dragon Knight is the latest CG-animated series from the popular Kung Fu Panda franchise, but the makers haven’t yet announced the release date for the same.
The mysterious pair of weasels set their eyes on a collection of four powerful weapons and they set out on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice. Po is partnered with Wandering Blade, the two mismatched warriors go on an epic adventure to find magical weapons and save the world from destruction, in their journey, they learn a thing or two from each other.
Other cast members are: Chris Geere as Klaus Dumont, Rahnuma Panthaky as Rukhmini, Della Saba as Veruca Dumont, Amy Hill as Pei Pei and Ed Weeks as Colin. The animation studio is DreamWorks Animation. Jack Black, Peter Hastings and Shaun Nigoghossian are executive producers, along with Ben Mekler and Chris Amick as co-executive producers.
