Digital Television Russia Group has closed deals on the sale of distribution rights for several animated series produced by Parovoz Studio with the Telewizja Polska media group (TVP ABC TV channel), Catalonia’s public service television network Televisió de Catalunya TVC (Super 3 TV channel) Israel’s Talit Communications (Junior TV channel) and South Korean JEI Broadcasting Corporation (JEI TV).
Digital Television Russia Group has completed a deal on the sale of distribution rights to 104 episodes of the Be-be-bears animated series on the popular Polish children’s TV channel TVP ABC, owned by the Telewizja Polska media group.
TVP ABC is the first children’s TV channel in the history of Polish television, launched on 15 February 2014. The channel’s target audience is children aged four to 12 and their parents. The first episode of Be-be-bears premiered on TVP ABC in late June 2021.
Be-be-bears is a children’s educational animated series for the entire family. The cartoon wins adults with its kindness and naivety, and young viewers are captured with the adventures and fantasies of the main characters. Children learn something new from each episode: how to take better care of the environment, what it means to be friends and what to do if something breaks down.
The animated series about the adventures of the brown bear Bucky, the polar bear Bjorn, and their friend Littlefox has also become available to young viewers in Spain. This was made possible through a deal with the Televisió de Catalunya (TVC), a public broadcasting network in Catalonia.
Be-be-bears will be broadcasted on Super 3 children’s TV channel, which was launched in October 2009 and is owned by the TVC group. The channel features both entertainment and educational programs for all ages. Super 3 has acquired the rights to 182 episodes of the Be-be-bears animated series. The premiere of the cartoon is scheduled for January 2022. It will be released in Catalan.
Several animated projects of Digital Television Russia will become available in Israel. A deal has been completed with the media holding’s partner Talit Communications, one of the largest companies in the Israeli television market that produces and distributes content, as well as organizes live broadcasts of major events and exclusively represents foreign channels in Israel.
Animated series Heroes of Envell and F.A.S.T. focused on an audience of six to 12 years, will be available on the Junior channel, launched in 2006 on Yes satellite platform, and later on Hot cable platform. The Junior channel’s library consists of a variety of high-quality children’s shows, including worldwide hits and animation premieres.
Heroes of Envell is a story of four gamers who find an unusual laptop that turns out to be a portal to the world of the game Heroes of Envell. Everything is real here: the city itself, its inhabitants, and the dangers waiting around every corner.
F.A.S.T. — ‘Special Team of Fearless Animals’ is a fun children’s fantasy action cartoon in which a brave rabbit, fox, wolf and bear fight supervillains and save peaceful animals.
And furthermore, animated series Leo and Tig and Be-be-bears, aimed at children under six will be available on YouKid app, created especially for the children aged three-six. Leo and Tig is an animated series about a little leopard Leo and tiger cub Tig. The life of the animals is full of adventures, from which they emerge victorious, coping with their own fears and helping each other.
The level of distribution has also been enhanced by a deal with South Korean JEI TV, a cable television broadcaster for children, which was founded in 1998 and operates in the field of broadcasting, digital media and entertainment. The Leo and Tig project became available to little viewers and their parents in South Korea and the Asia-Pacific region on 17 July. The cartoon is aired every Friday in the premium time slot, two episodes at a time, and the series is scheduled for a total of 26 weeks.
