Millimages to distribute Movimenti Production’s ‘Spooky Wolf’

Independent animation studio and IP developer Millimages has been appointed as the worldwide distributor (excluding Italy, Germany, LATAM, Austria, Israel, Portugal and Spain) for Movimenti Production’s newest animation series, Spooky Wolf (26 x 13’). With production completed, Spooky Wolf will headline Millimages’ MIPTV offerings alongside their latest project in development, Camp Farmcreek (52 x 11’).

Directed by Giorgio Scorza, the series was produced by Movimenti Production using a design style that mixes 2D characters with live-action backgrounds. Millimages content sales executive Lucille Janvier said, “We have been invested in this series since the very beginning because of its totally original premise, fun characters and standout design. The imaginative, silly and sometimes absurd situations in the stories really speak to the sense of humour of today and will make the show a fan favourite and solid success with boys and girls alike.”

Spooky Wolf’s first season asks the question: What if the Big Bad Wolf is neither big nor bad, but a teenage detective… So the sea has disappeared? So your mouth has been stolen? So it’s Christmas every day? Sounds like a case for Spooky Wolf, helped by three eccentric little pigs and Cherry, a very unusual Red Riding Hood. Together they solve the cases in the most improbable of cities, Fantaville. Fantaville is a city beyond the world of fairytales, halfway between reality and fantasy, where even the most improbable characters and plot twists are believable: a loser of a vampire, a thief of absurd things, a lamp genie who trades in all kinds of wishes…in Fantaville, anything goes.

Millimages will also be screening the trailer to its latest project Camp Farmcreek at MIPTV. Currently under development Camp Farmcreek (52 x 11’) is a 2D animated comedy aimed at six to nine-year-olds.

The synopsis of the show reads: Summer is here! Leo, Violet and Sam cannot wait to wake up late, hang out with friends and play video games! Except that their parents decided to send them to Camp Farmcreek, a little farm “converted” into a summer camp run by Hector, a super nice but completely offbeat farmer. Reconnect with nature…. yeah right! Between the 5 am rooster call, the organisation of the camp party, the Yodel class, the local “prettiest pig” contest, or even the motorised wheelbarrow race, our heroes will have the best summer of their lives.
