It is announced that an anime version of Mashle: Magic and Muscles is now in production and will be released in 2023. The official account of the series tweeted new artwork after the announcement in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. Along with the Twitter announcement, a trailer was also released. It features Mash, the main character of the series, discovering how to use his signature muscle magic.
Mashle takes place in a universe where magic reigns supreme and a person’s social standing is based on his or her abilities or lack thereof. Mash Burnedead has no evident magic. He was born without the distinctive mark that designates a magic wielder, is abandoned by his family and adopted by Regro Burnedead, a man who starts teaching him self-defence. Mash will need to graduate from the Easton Magic Academy with top marks to become a divine visionary if he wants to change his own life and that of his adoptive father. He will need to become an expert at muscle magic, control of his muscles that enables him to perform incredible feats.
