Kidscreen Summit is all set to come back live in Miami after two years. The week-long event will kick off on 18 July 2022 with a keynote address by Kwame Alexander, who is a New York Times bestselling author and Newbery Award medallist.
The organisers are also going to announce the winners of the Kidscreen Awards in a high-profile live ceremony which will be hosted by multi-talented Grey Griffin, the voice behind iconic characters like Daphne Blake from Scooby-Doo, Azula from Avatar, Vicky from The Fairly Odd Parents to name a few. She has given her voice in more than 1,700 animated movies since 1996.
Details about the debates, keynotes and debates, panel discussions, research presentations and much more are provided on the website of Kidscreen Summit. The live attendees will have an anytime access to video recordings of Kidscreen Summit Virtual that took place online in March. The organisers are expecting a turn out of around 1,600 delegates. Registration for the same is open on their website and they even have an early bird discount till 27 May.
Broadcasters and streaming platforms will be well represented, including buyers from Amazon Kids, Apple TV+, Baby First, BBC Children’s & Education, Comcast/Xfinity, Disney Branded TV, Disney+/Disney Channels, HITN, ITV, Netflix, Nickelodeon, PBS KIDS, TVOKids, WarnerMedia, WildBrain Television and YouTube.
Executives from studios and distributors like 9 Story Media Group, Boat Rocker Media, Atomic Cartoons, Dandeloo, DreamWork Animation, Cyber Group Studios, GURU Studio, Federation Kids & Family, Mediatoon, Millimages, Nelvana, Moonbug Entertainment, Silvergate Media, Sesame Workshop, Studio 100, Studio Canal and Superhights are going to attend.
The previous live event of Kidscreen Summit was held in February 2020 in Miami which saw more than 2,200 attendees. It was a four-day event with unparalleled business networking, learning and inspiration.
