Image Metrics, Inc., a leading provider of facial animation technology, and IMPD Productions, Inc., formerly part of Image Metrics but now a wholly-owned independent animation production company, announced today their partnership to serve clients with state-of-the-art production technology and services. Through this unique collaboration, IMPD will provide more extensive animation services to Image Metrics‘ clients.

Image Metrics, the creator of the revolutionary CG facial animation software, FACEWARE, will focus on developing a range of 3D animation software products for both professional and consumer internet markets. IMPD is a full service animation production company with unique expertise in FACEWARE and all aspects of character animation. As an Image Metrics Certified Partner, IMPD can now work closely with Image Metrics customers that require additional full-service animation offerings. Their service offerings include: Character Animation (facial and body), Motion Capture, Clean Up, Modeling, Rigging, Texturing, Lighting, Full Editorial Services.

IMPD is owned and operated by Egiziano, a former director of production at Image Metrics who has an extensive career in animation, having worked on and delivered projects for Disney, Sony, Paramount and Warner Bros. Additionally, the IMPD staff has vast experience and background in film, AAA video games, TV commercials and specialized CG projects. Key staff members include Director of Animation Ido Gondelman, Producer Jake Fenske and Associate Producer Kay Arutyunyan.
