HBO Max drops ‘Flintstones’ spinoff ‘Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs’ trailer

HBO Max has debuted an official trailer for Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs, its new family-friendly Flintstones spinoff starring Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm-Bamm Rubble. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the new children’s animated comedy series premieres 30 September on HBO Max.

The series follows “a new generation to the iconic world of the Flintstones and its beloved characters.” The show stars the voices of Jessica DeCicco as Pebbles, Ely Henry as Bamm-Bamm, Jeff Bergman as Fred Flintstone and Mr. Slate, Kevin Michael Richardson as Barney Rubble, Grey Griffin as Betty Rubble and Tress MacNeille as Wilma Flintstone.

Here’s the official synopsis: Best friends Pebbles Flintstone and Bamm-Bamm Rubble are two kids from the town of Bedrock, a modern Stone Age civilization where dinosaurs are domesticated and helpful, including their lovable and loyal pet Dino. But the real “yabba dabba doo” times are had in the open wilderness outside of Bedrock city limits in a place they call The Crags! There, Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm meet a never-ending roster of prehistoric pals and explore environments that are as wild, colorful, and surprising as the dinosaurs who live there.

Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm are certainly no strangers to having their own spinoff. In the early 1970s, older versions of the duo starred in The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show on CBS. While the spinoff only lasted one season on its own, it did continue as part of The Flintstone Comedy Hour.

The series is produced by Emmy Award-nominees Mark Marek (MAD) and Marly Halpern-Graser (ThunderCats Roar), and executive produced by Sam Register (Looney Tunes Cartoons).

WarnerMedia Kids & Family is bringing the iconic world of the Flintstones to a new generation with Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs. The brand-new series premieres 30 September on HBO Max.
