Gyan Correa, director of much acclaimed film ‘The Good Road’, India’s official entry to the Best Foreign Language Film category, at the 86th Academy Awards, has joined hands with Frameboxx, India’s leading Animation and Visual Effects training brand – for mentoring students for their Advertising Film Making course.
Gyan, who also won the National Award for Best Gujarati film last year for his directorial
debut, has directed over 500 TV commercials and documentaries. His work straddles the worlds of advertising, NGO’s and Art, including some of India’s leading corporate’s, the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, UNICEF and the UGC etc.
Commenting on Association with Frameboxx, Gyan says, “Film making is a skill born of that right blend of theory and practice. The Box-office program is a comprehensive hands-on course in advertising film making that demystifies the process in a practical way. There are tons of workshops, studio visits and expert lectures that add an extra edge to the course. This course has been designed and will be mentored by Gyan Correa and his team of industry professionals and thus is a one of its kind opportunity for students in India.
The duration of the course would be of twelve months and the first batch will commence in March, this year.
