In the animation space since 1998 and predominantly focused on educational content in its earlier avatar (Kartoonz Studios), ettaminA studios was inaugurated in Mumbai last weekend.
Founded by the trio of Amit Anand, Nikhil Nagra and Bhavesh Shah, the fully functional animation studio is concentrating on creation of IP and is working on a slew of original titles in the home video space for various publishers including Times Multimedia, Shethia Audio Video and Jeevandeep Infomedia and Prakashan.
The studio which currently has a team strength of 32 artists and is looking to ramp up to at least half its maximum capacity of 100 is also involved in creating advertisement clips, social messages, home videos, educational ROMS and interactive CDs.
Speaking on the occasion ettaminA studios co founder Amit Anand shared with Animation ‘xpress the outline of the studios’ business model,”Our constant endeavour is to be involved with work that has a present and a future. We consciously invest in building Intellectual Property for the long run but at the same time provide development-partner services to many clients over the medium term”
