DQE receives “International Studio of the Year” Award & “Best Animated TV Series”

DQ Entertainment, the global animation, entertainment production and Distribution Company, announces that it has received the prestigious “International Studio of the Year” award at the 16th ceremony of Cartoons on the Bay, Italy 2012.

The Company is also pleased to announce that it’s CG animated TV series titled ‘Iron Man’ co-produced with Method Animation; France won the Pulcinella Awards in the category of ‘Best TV series for Teens’ on 24th March’12 at Rapallo, Italy. ‘Charlie Chaplin’, DQE’s CGI animated TV series, co-produced with Method Animation, France was also nominated for the Pulcinella Awards in the category of ‘Best TV series for Kids’ at the festival of Cartoons on the Bay.

Cartoons on the Bay Italy, is one of the most prestigious, international events for the animation industry. The festival and awards ceremony aims to foster creativity and support the commitment of worldwide authors and producers in linking arts and entertainment and to help professionals in choosing quality and innovative products.  The awards attract a wide range of participation from international production houses to the press, students and the general public.

DQE has received over 35 awards including an EMMY, at several national and international forums recognizing creativity and excellence. Among these are the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award, The UK Broadcast Award 2010, Sichuan TV Festival International “Gold Panda” Award, 11 Emmy nominations and an Emmy Award administered by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences , USA for ‘Tutenstein’ animated TV series. The Jungle Book produced by DQE was nominated in 5 categories at the Cartoons on the bay – Pulcinella awards Italy in 2011.
