Netflix recently revealed the trailer of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book 3, the anime series based on the immensely popular DOTA 2 videogame franchise by Valve. The upcoming season will be streaming on 11 August.
The fantasy series tells the story of Davion, a renowned Dragon Knight devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world. Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined.
In the upcoming season, the time has come for brave warriors to conquer an indomitable foe. But can the ultimate sacrifice bring lasting peace — to all possible worlds?

The series DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is based on the hugely successful global videogame franchise DOTA 2 by Valve. Ashley Edward Miller (X-Men: First Class, Thor and Black Sails) serves as series showrunner and executive producer. Renowned Studio MIR (The Legend of Korra and Netflix’s Voltron: Legendary Defender) is responsible for animation, and co-executive producer is Ryu Ki Hyun.
