Marking the occasion of Star Wars Day, Disney+ has released a new-original Star Wars animated short, Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens From Its Nap, featuring Simpsons in Star Wars theme along with the previously announced series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
The episodes of Star Wars Biomes and Star Wars Vehicle Flythroughs will also be released.
Both Star Wars and Simpsons fans can stream the series on Disney+ from today 12:00 am PT onwards.
The animation short Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens From Its Nap will feature the Star Wars galaxy characters traveling to Springfield. The new cross-promotional short is the first of several shorts from The Simpsons that Disney+ will release throughout the year as a mark of tribute to the service’s marquee brands and titles.
Lucasfilm and Disney+ joined together to celebrate the creativity and artistry of the Star Wars world. They have brought up original artwork from a group of artists and Star Wars fans to take over the service for several days. The artwork will be featured on service till 9 May 2021 and will also be available for purchase on Amazon.

In a daycare far, far away, but still in Springfield, Maggie is on an epic quest for her stolen pacifier. Her adventure brings her face-to-face with young Padawans, Sith Lords, familiar droids, Rebel scum, and an ultimate battle against the dark side, in this original short celebrating the Star Wars galaxy.
